Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, has announced the formation of a global alliance to push Israel towards accepting a two-state solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The alliance includes Arab and Muslim countries as well as European partners, with the first meetings set to take place in Riyadh and Brussels.
Bin Farhan emphasized that the implementation of a two-state solution is crucial for ending violence and suffering in the region, ultimately leading to security and coexistence for all parties involved. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also reiterated the kingdom’s stance, stating that they will not recognize Israel without a Palestinian state.
Recent conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated tensions in the Middle East, with both sides engaging in deadly attacks. Reports suggest that Israel may be gearing up for a ground assault, potentially signaling the start of a full-scale war. Amidst the violence, both sides have suffered significant losses, further fueling the need for a peaceful resolution.
