YEREVAN, ARMENPRESS – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia highlighted the government’s Crossroads of Peace project at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York City. This project aims to create peaceful connections between Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and the entire region. The goal is to establish transport routes, pipelines, and cables to promote communication and people-to-people contacts, all while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country.
Armenia is committed to ensuring the safety of cargo, vehicles, and people passing through its territory, rejecting claims that third forces would provide security. PM Pashinyan emphasized the importance of speaking positively to manifest a better reality, showcasing a willingness to work hard and make tough decisions for peace and development. This initiative can contribute to the Middle Corridor, enhancing the efficiency of goods transportation.
In a message of hope and optimism, PM Pashinyan encouraged reliance on positive circumstances to reduce negative ones, fostering a brighter future for all nations involved.
