In a daring escape attempt, a 26-year-old man suspected of violating the Road Traffic Law leaped from a third-floor hotel balcony in Kobe when police arrived to arrest him. The man, clad only in underwear, evaded capture by jumping 10 meters to the ground below and fleeing the scene.
The police had a warrant for his arrest related to driving without a license, as well as involvement in a mobile crime group linked through social media. Despite deploying 11 officers in and around the hotel, authorities were caught off guard by the suspect’s bold escape tactic.
Currently, the police are interrogating a woman in her twenties who was found in the hotel room with the suspect. The incident has raised questions about the lengths individuals will go to avoid legal repercussions.
