Jharkhand plagued by massive corruption, money rules all: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

In a fiery speech at the BJP’s ‘Parivartan Rally’ in Latehar, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan slammed the JMM-led government in Jharkhand for alleged corruption and mismanagement of central funds. Accusing the government of playing with the future of youth, Chouhan promised a thorough probe into the misuse of MGNREGA funds.

Highlighting the failures of the current government, Chouhan vowed to provide free solar power under ‘Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana’ and double the monthly honorarium for women to Rs 2,000 if BJP wins the upcoming state elections. He urged voters to oust the “corrupt” government, emphasizing the need for change in the state.

Chouhan’s scathing remarks underscored the growing discontent with the JMM-led coalition, citing issues like mismanagement during the excise police recruitment drive and overall governance failures. The upcoming elections to the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will be a crucial test for the ruling government.
