Harris Embraces Endorsements From Neocon Architects of Failed Wars – DC Think Tank
Over the past two weeks, Democratic hopeful Kamala Harris received endorsements from former high-ranking national security officials opposing Donald Trump’s re-election. The support came from Washington warhawks via two letters, with one signed by ex-Republican officials and the other by 700 national security leaders. However, many of these endorsements came from individuals involved in failed US wars, sparking criticism from Democrats.
The bipartisan elite in Washington supports Harris mainly to prevent Trump’s return to office, despite concerns about the past actions of some endorsers, such as Dick Cheney and Eric S. Edelman. The campaign’s approach has been questioned for overlooking America’s checkered past.
