Arrest made in e-hailing driver murder case.

Breaking News: Johannesburg metro police have made a significant arrest in connection with the tragic murder of an e-hailing driver in Berea, Johannesburg. The suspect, a 26-year-old man, was captured after a video of him surfaced on social media.

The arrest took place at Jabulani Hostel in Soweto following a well-coordinated operation by the metro police tactical response unit (TRU) and the Gauteng police tracking team. The suspect was apprehended while sleeping in a room at the hostel.

Upon searching the room, law enforcement officers found an unlicensed firearm, a magazine, and 10 rounds of ammunition. The suspect, who still had the same clothing on as seen in the surveillance footage, is now detained at Jabulani police station and will be facing charges related to the murder of the e-hailing driver.
