Tragic Incident: 7-Year-Old Boy Killed in Alleged Ritual Sacrifice Leads to Five Arrests in India
In a shocking turn of events, five people have been arrested in India for their involvement in the killing of a seven-year-old boy in an alleged ritual sacrifice, aimed at bringing good fortune to a public school. The victim was found dead in his bed at the hostel where he resided in the city of Hathras, not far from the iconic Taj Mahal.
School director Dinesh Baghel, along with his father and three other teachers, were apprehended by the authorities. Police revealed that the boy was killed before a black magic ceremony was conducted by Baghel’s father. The child was meant to be taken to an altar as part of the ritual but tragically lost his life before it could be completed.
Ritual killings, although rare, continue to occur in India, with cases reported across different parts of the country.
