US Escalates Tensions as China Conducts Missile Test in Pacific
Published by: Sputnik International
China recently test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile in the Pacific Ocean during its annual exercises, causing tensions with the US. Analysts suggest the US is provoking conflict with China, with plans for war by 2027.
In response, the US imposed tariffs on Chinese goods, including a 100% duty on electric vehicles, fearing cybersecurity risks. However, China, a leader in electric vehicles, remains committed to fair competition.
“China is the world leader in renewables and EVs, but the US fears Chinese dominance and misinformation campaigns demonize China,” analyst KJ Noh explained.
US lawmakers have approved anti-Chinese laws, fuelling an “information war” against China. As tensions rise, the specter of a second Cold War looms, with implications for global security.
