Turkish President Erdogan Criticizes the West for Silence on Gaza Situation

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey recently expressed disappointment in the Western countries for remaining silent in the face of Israel’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip. The conflict has led to the deaths of over 41,400 Palestinians, with a majority being women and children.

Erdogan highlighted the lack of action from NATO allies against Israel, including the United States, which he accused of supporting Tel Aviv despite criticism. He also discussed the American presidential elections, stating that regardless of the outcome, cooperation between Turkey and the US would continue.

On Turkey’s relations with Russia and their decision to participate in the BRICS meeting, Erdogan emphasized the multidimensional nature of their ties, spanning political, economic, cultural, and defense industries. The President reiterated Turkey’s commitment to maintaining close relations with all administrations on a global scale.
