Pit bull hero: Saves children from ‘deadly’ King Cobra

A pit bull in India named Jenny has become a national hero after bravely saving children from a venomous snake in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi area. The video of Jenny attacking a King Cobra went viral on social media, showcasing the dog’s fearless nature. Despite India recently banning the import, sale, and breeding of pit bulls, Jenny’s actions have earned her widespread praise and gratitude.

The incident occurred when a King Cobra entered the garden where children were playing. Jenny broke free from her leash and immediately confronted the snake, ultimately overpowering and killing it. This act of heroism was not the first time Jenny had protected her family from snakes, as her owner, Punjab Singh, shared that she had previously killed 8 to 10 snakes in their vicinity.

Despite the ban on certain dog breeds, Singh stands by Jenny, stating that she has never harmed anyone and advocating for showing love towards animals. Jenny’s courageous act has captured the hearts of many, emphasizing the importance of the bond between humans and animals.
