Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the army to continue fighting at full force and has not responded to calls for a ceasefire with Hezbollah, as reported by the BBC. A coalition of 12 international allies, including the UK, US, and France, has urged for an immediate temporary ceasefire in Lebanon to allow for diplomatic negotiations. However, Netanyahu has ordered the IDF to persist with the current military operations in both Lebanon and Gaza until all objectives are met.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has firmly rejected any ceasefire proposals, declaring that the fighting against Hezbollah will continue until victory is achieved. The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel escalated following an attack by Hamas in Gaza, leading to cross-border clashes and significant casualties on both sides.
While the situation remains tense, Israel shows no sign of backing down in its efforts to bring about a resolution to the ongoing hostilities.
