Nasser Kanaani dismissed accusations of Iranian threats against US officials as “ridiculous and totally baseless.” The statement came in response to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s claims about tracking Iranian threats towards American officials, including Donald Trump and some in the Biden administration.
Kanaani argued that these accusations are part of US political maneuvers and lack credibility. He pointed out that the US government cannot evade its responsibility for supporting the Israeli regime’s crimes in Palestine and Lebanon, despite false accusations against Iran.
He asserted that Iran remains steadfast in seeking justice against those who have harmed its people, regardless of theatrical tactics by the US. Kanaani made it clear that criminals will be held accountable for their actions, emphasizing that legal action will be pursued without regard to statute of limitations.
