Iran Denies US Claims of Threats to American Officials

Iran has dismissed recent claims by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken regarding threats to American officials as “ridiculous scenarios” fabricated by Washington. The accusations were described by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani as absurd and baseless, driven by political motives and aimed at creating an electoral atmosphere.

Kan’ani emphasized that Iran remains committed to pursuing legal and international accountability for crimes committed against its people, regardless of false attributions and political accusations made by the US government. He highlighted the role of the US in aiding international crimes against Palestine and Lebanon, holding US officials accountable for humanitarian atrocities.

Despite the accusations, Iran stands firm in its determination to seek justice against perpetrators of crimes, stressing that time will not shield criminals from trial and punishment.
