Goma Protesters Burn American Flag in Anti-Western Demonstration

Young activists from various movements protested against Western countries and the international community following a speech by Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi at the United Nations. The president called on the international community to condemn and sanction Rwanda for supporting the terrorist group M23. The protestors expressed frustration with the silence of Western nations and accused them of exploitation and complicity in the conflicts in the region.

The protestors burned an American flag as a symbol of their anger and warning to the United States. They vowed to continue their demonstrations against America for their alleged support of terrorist groups in Africa. President Tshisekedi’s call for sanctions against Rwanda has led to mixed reactions in the Congo, with hopes for resolution and anger over ongoing violence in the region.

The activists demand peace and accountability from the international community, particularly the United States, to stop the exploitation and violence plaguing the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tensions remain high as the Congolese government and citizens push for justice and stability in the region.
