The City of Ekurhuleni has taken action against metro police chief Jabulani Isaac Mapiyeye by placing him on precautionary suspension due to allegations of serious misconduct, specifically recent claims of sexual misconduct. City spokesperson Zweli Dlamini confirmed that Mapiyeye received his suspension letter on Wednesday.
