Exploring the Unseen: Discoveries in Khankendi at ADEX 2024

In a recent development in the liberated territory of Khankendi, a significant number of mines, predominantly booby traps, created by Armenians have been unearthed, as revealed by Musa Mammadov, the chief specialist of the Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency. Some of these mine samples are currently on display at the 5th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX) in Baku.

Originating as a biennial event in 2014, ADEX has established itself as a prominent platform for the defense industry in the region over the last ten years. The ongoing exhibition, along with the 14th Exhibition for International Security, Safety, and Rescue Equipment “Securex Caspian”, is drawing participants from more than 50 countries and hosting around 200 official delegations.

With a track record of attracting over 30,000 guests and expanding its exhibitor base and sectors, ADEX 2024 is geared towards showcasing cutting-edge technologies and fostering international collaborations in the domain of defense and security.
