200 suspects paraded in major Lagos crackdown

The Lagos State Police Command has displayed its strength by parading over 200 suspects arrested for various crimes, including kidnapping, cultism, drug dealing, and armed robbery. The suspects were apprehended across the state, with evidence seized such as firearms, ammunition, phones, vehicles, and drugs.

Among the notable arrests were three men who kidnapped a young woman and demanded a ransom, prompting successful police rescue and arrest. Additionally, officers saved a distressed woman and recovered a stolen vehicle from two suspects.

Other arrests included individuals caught with drugs, stolen goods, and involved in cultism and robbery. The State Commissioner of Police promised to continue cracking down on crime and collaborating with other agencies and the public to maintain peace in Lagos.

All suspects will face charges in court after investigations conclude, ensuring justice is served. The public can rest assured in CP Olanrewaju Ishola’s commitment to minimizing crime and maintaining order in the state.
