15 Protesters Killed by Israeli Soldiers where Aysenur Eygi was Shot

Tragedy Strikes: A Pattern of Violence Against Palestinian Protesters

Amid ongoing protests near the West Bank village of Beita, two tragic deaths have shed light on the violence inflicted by Israeli forces on civilians. Imad Ali Dweikat and American activist Aysenur Eygi both fell victim to gunfire from Israeli soldiers while standing far from the commotion of the protests.

Aseel AlBajeh, a Palestinian advocate, has documented these killings as part of a larger pattern of targeting civilians to suppress protest movements. The use of live ammunition by Israeli authorities has resulted in the deaths of multiple civilians in Beita.

International condemnation has followed Eygi’s death, with calls for independent investigations into the actions of Israeli soldiers. However, Israeli military spokespersons have defended their actions and claimed that their rules of engagement adhere to international law.

The ongoing violence in the West Bank has left many injured and has sparked further calls for accountability and justice for the victims of these tragic events.
