The controversy surrounding the Yoon Suk-yeol administration’s new right-wing history is deepening, revealing that many ultra-right and new right-wing figures are serving as instructors in the education program of the National Institute of Public Administration, which targets government officials. Led by the ‘far-right YouTuber’ Kim Chae-hwan, the National Institute of Public Administration has included lectures by new rightists in its curriculum for government officials.

Members of the ruling Democratic Party, including Mo Kyung-jong, discovered that the program on ‘Understanding Yoon Suk-yeol government’s national philosophy’ involved several lectures by new right-leaning speakers. Kim Chae-hwan, the head of the institute, delivered lectures on ‘Understanding National Philosophy,’ while other controversial figures also served as instructors on various topics.

The participation of these new right figures as instructors in government training programs has raised questions and concerns regarding the distortion of history and the government’s agenda. Mo Kyung-jong emphasized the urgent need to halt the propagation of distorted historical perspectives in public service institutions.
