Tragic Incident of Gang-Rape During Road Robbery in Sahiwal
Recently, a horrifying incident of a teenage girl being gang-raped during a road robbery in the presence of her family near village Malik Rahmoo in Pakpattan has shocked the nation. The family, hailing from Bahawalnagar, was visiting friends in Pakpattan when the perpetrators intercepted their car and captured them at gunpoint.
The suspects first robbed the family of their belongings and then subjected the 17-year-old niece to a harrowing gang-rape in the maize fields nearby. Despite the girl’s cries for help, the family was helpless and unable to intervene.
Following the incident, the suspects fled, leaving the traumatized family to seek help from nearby farmhouses. The police were alerted, and a case was registered under relevant sections against the unidentified culprits.
