MotoGP set to make a comeback in India in 2026

The Indian Grand Prix will make its return to the MotoGP calendar in 2026, after a recent announcement by organisers. Originally planned to be held at the Buddh International Circuit for the next three seasons, the race will now serve as a reserve event for the 2025 season.

Following the signing of a new agreement with the government of Uttar Pradesh, the race had to be postponed due to operational constraints. The decision was made to move the event to early 2026, as there were no available dates towards the end of the season.

The 2023 edition of the Grand Prix at Buddh saw over 100,000 spectators in attendance, with the upcoming event scheduled for March 2026 to ensure better weather conditions. While this year’s race was cancelled, MotoGP enthusiasts can expect an exciting return to India in the near future.
