Jordan Moves Towards Economic Modernization Vision

Jordan is making steady progress towards achieving its Economic Modernization Vision, with a focus on strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors. Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Muhannad Shehadeh, emphasized the pivotal role of the private sector in implementing the government’s reform roadmap.

During a meeting with the Jordan Businessmen Association, Shehadeh highlighted the importance of attracting investments and developing strategies to support economic reform plans. He also stressed the association’s continuous efforts to attract local and foreign investments to contribute to Jordan’s economic goals.

Minister of Investment, Mothanna Gharaibeh, emphasized the promising opportunities in Jordan despite regional crises. He highlighted the importance of youth in advancing the economy through entrepreneurship and supporting key sectors like artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

Gharaibeh called for enhanced collaboration with the private sector to achieve Economic Modernization Vision goals, including creating job opportunities for youth and reducing poverty and unemployment rates in Jordanian society.
