A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces during a raid on the Al-Fawar refugee camp, south of Hebron (al Khalil), in the early hours of Wednesday, while occupation forces once again invaded Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
Yahya Daniel Awad, 29, died after being shot in the chest, and four other men were injured. Awad, a father and municipality employee, was a victim of the ongoing violence in the region, bringing the death toll to 717 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.
Ambulances Searched
Israeli forces also invaded Jenin, causing clashes and searching ambulances, further escalating tensions in the area. The destruction of infrastructure and civilian homes in the region highlights the ongoing crisis faced by Palestinians.
Undercover Forces
In a display of defiance, Palestinian youths faced off against Israeli forces, while detentions and arrests of innocent civilians continue to rise in the region, causing further unrest and fear among the population.
Over 10,900 Detained
With over 10,900 Palestinians detained since October, the situation in the occupied West Bank remains precarious, with widespread abuse, assaults, and threats against detainees and their families exacerbating the already tense environment.
