The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, delivered a compelling address at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. He highlighted the ongoing moral and political crises facing humanity, particularly in Gaza and Ukraine.
Bećirović condemned the All-Serbian Parliament’s declaration, emphasizing its threat to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s territorial integrity. He also expressed disappointment in the UN’s past failures to adequately respond to conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Furthermore, he acknowledged the suffering of Palestinian civilians in Gaza and praised the UN’s resolution designating July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance for the Srebrenica Genocide.
Bećirović warned against Serbia’s renewed threats to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s sovereignty, urging for respect of national borders to maintain regional stability.
