At the First International Cyber Diplomacy Conference in Baku, Ilgar Musayev highlighted the potential threat cyberattacks pose to critical infrastructure. He emphasized that cybersecurity is not just a technical issue but also involves political, economic, and social factors.
Musayev stressed the need for diplomatic, legislative, and capacity-building efforts alongside technical measures to enhance global cybersecurity. The conference brought together government officials, diplomats, cybersecurity experts, international organizations, academia, and the private sector to share insights and experiences.
This collaboration is expected to contribute to a more comprehensive and effective cybersecurity strategy. The event is part of the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, organized jointly by the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security of Azerbaijan and the Cyber Diplomacy Center of Romania.
