Reports from Sudan indicate that 13 UAE officers and soldiers have been killed or injured in recent days, with suspicions of their involvement in supporting mercenaries.

Dr. Taj Al-Sir Osman, head of the National Strategic Center, revealed that Emirati soldiers were targeted at Nyala Airport in Darfur by the Sudanese army, leading to casualties.

He emphasized the need for the international community to acknowledge and investigate UAE’s alleged state terrorism activities beyond its borders.

On the other hand, the UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed the death of 4 soldiers and injury of 9 others during a mission in Sudan, although the details remain unspecified.
