The Palestinian residents of the Umm Safa village, north of Ramallah, are constantly fighting Israeli attempts to seize their lands.

Illegal Jewish settlers continue to encroach on the lands of Umm Safa village in the occupied West Bank, as the residents struggle against Israeli land grabs. Efforts to establish illegal settlement outposts backed by the occupation army intensify the threat to Palestinian land rights. Land confiscation in the West Bank has surged following Israel’s actions in Gaza in October 2023, with the largest confiscation of 12.7 square kilometers in 30 years. The Palestinian community in Umm Safa faces constant aggression, with plans to displace residents for the benefit of illegal settlements.

‘There is No Land’

Residents are being pushed out of their homes, facing violence and restrictions on access to their lands. The ongoing confiscations under varied pretexts aim to displace Palestinians and expand illegal settlements, consolidating Israeli control over the West Bank.
