Ukraine FM meets with Japanese, Brazilian counterparts in NY

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, recently met with Foreign Ministers Yoko Kamikawa of Japan and Mauro Vieira of Brazil in New York to discuss key issues. Sybiha expressed gratitude to Japan for their support and collaboration in advancing the Peace Formula and strengthening bilateral ties, including energy assistance. He also appreciated Japan’s plan to open an office of the Japan External Trade Organization in Kyiv.

In his meeting with Vieira, Sybiha updated the Brazilian counterpart on progress regarding the Ukrainian Peace Formula and shared intelligence data on potential threats to Ukraine’s nuclear energy system from Russia. Sybiha emphasized the importance of Brazil’s role in preventing such risks and ensuring peace and stability.

The diplomatic discussions underscored the strategic cooperation between Ukraine, Japan, and Brazil in promoting peace and security. As Sybiha continues to engage with global partners, the commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine remains a top priority.
