In a recent speech at the 15th Türkiye Investment Conference in New York, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat highlighted the strength and resilience of Türkiye’s economy. Bolat encouraged foreign investors to take advantage of the investment opportunities in his country, emphasizing that their contributions would help drive production, exports, and overall welfare in Türkiye.

He pointed out the significant decrease in Türkiye’s current account deficit, a result of the country’s strong performance in foreign trade. Türkiye’s global trade share in goods and services has been increasing steadily, reaching record levels. As a regional hub for global companies, Türkiye is set to solidify its position as a key production and distribution center for Europe.

Trade relations between the US and Türkiye have been strengthening, with both countries aiming to reach a bilateral trade volume of $100 billion. Bolat highlighted the key industries driving Turkish-American cooperation, including consumer goods, energy, health, defense, and technology.

With a transformed industrial sector and a reputation as a leading manufacturer in various industries, Türkiye presents a promising landscape for investors looking to capitalize on its economic growth.
