The Centre for Peace Advocacy in Africa (CPAA) has nominated President Bola Tinubu and Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, for a prestigious global peace prize. CPAA acknowledged their remarkable efforts in enhancing sustainable worldwide peace and providing innovative solutions to security challenges.
According to CPAA Director, Mr. Ochonu Williams, President Tinubu’s administration has made significant progress in combating insecurity, fulfilling his promise of Renewed Hope to Nigerians. Targeted military operations have effectively dealt with bandit groups, restored hope, and minimized civilian casualties. Community engagement initiatives and economic empowerment programs have also been implemented to address underlying issues.
Matawalle has shown exceptional leadership in the fight against banditry, with notable achievements in intelligence gathering and security operations. The collaborative efforts of President Tinubu and Minister Matawalle have led to improved security measures and strategic operations against bandit groups, ultimately ensuring the safety and development of affected regions.
