Sharing UK’s Creative Sector Development Expertise with Turkmenistan

UK to Share Creative Economy Development Experience with Turkmenistan

The UK ambassador to Turkmenistan, Stephen Conlon, announced that the UK plans to collaborate with Turkmenistan through a joint initiative with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to share its experience in developing the creative economy. This initiative aims to stimulate economic growth, strengthen national identity, and promote innovation in Turkmenistan.

UNDP will provide recommendations on developing the creative economy and supporting entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan as part of the project. A key event will be a forum on creative and circular economy, bringing together government officials, business leaders, international experts, and the creative sector to create a favorable legislative framework and share international experiences.

UNDP works closely with the Government of Turkmenistan and international partners to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, utilizing global knowledge, technology, and innovative solutions for a peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future for Turkmenistan.
