Former Prime Minister Imran Khan defended his stance on Israel, dismissing critics as “naive” for misinterpreting an article in an Israeli newspaper. The article had hinted at Khan’s potential role in normalizing ties with Israel, but Khan reiterated his condemnation of Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
Khan, speaking after proceedings in the Toshakhana case, emphasized that a dialogue with Israel could only happen after a ceasefire. He also announced plans for a major PTI rally in Rawalpindi, stressing the party’s popular support despite recent obstacles.
Khan warned of mass protests against any proposed constitutional changes and criticized the administration for restrictions during recent PTI events. The Toshakhana case, accusing Khan and his spouse of corruption, was also discussed in court proceedings.
Despite challenges, Khan remains resolute in his beliefs and political goals, promising continued opposition to injustice and advocating for Palestinian rights.
