Fire Breaks Out Near Empress Market in Karachi
A fire erupted in a building near Karachi’s Empress Market in the Saddar area. Firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze that has engulfed the commercial building. Fortunately, there are no immediate reports of casualties, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
Just a day earlier, a fire destroyed over 50 government vehicles in an empty plot near Clifton Block One, Shireen Jinnah Colony. The fire affected mostly disabled vehicles owned by a private company. Rescue teams managed to control the blaze with the help of 15 fire brigade vehicles.
Authorities are investigating the incidents, including the theft of vehicle parts before the fire occurred near the Empress Market. The cause of the fires is still unknown, posing questions about the safety and security of properties in Karachi.
