European Parliament’s Left Group Condemns Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

The Left group of the European Parliament strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, stating that they disregarded Lebanon’s sovereignty, human rights, and international law. The attacks resulted in bombs hitting civilians, residential areas, medical personnel, and ambulances. The group criticized Israel’s far-right government for causing chaos in the region with the support of its western allies.

European lawmakers, including Kostas Arvanitis from Greece’s Syriza party and Irene Montero from Spain’s Podemos party, expressed their concerns over the war crimes committed by the Israeli government.
