Amman – Security forces have successfully solved a two-month-old case involving the death of a man in Karak’s Fuqu’ district. The suspect has been apprehended, and the firearm used in the incident has been recovered.
The victim was found in a local farm with signs of gunshot wounds. After two months of diligent investigation by a team from the Criminal Investigation Department and Karak police, the suspect was arrested. The accused confessed to the shooting, stating it was due to a previous dispute. The recovered firearm matched the crime scene evidence.
The case has been handed over to the public prosecutor of the Grand Criminal Court, and the suspect is in custody for 15 days. In a separate incident, a woman in her sixties tragically passed away after falling from a third-floor apartment in the Abu Sidou area of Northern Jordan Valley.
