Kanaani condemned the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks on Gaza and highlighted the urgent need for the international community to intervene and stop the Israeli war machine. He criticized the US government’s unwavering support for Israel, which has rendered the UN Security Council ineffective in addressing the crisis.
Additionally, Kanaani mentioned Iran’s diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in Gaza, stating that Tehran is engaging in serious talks with key regional and international players to halt the Israeli aggression against Palestinians. He emphasized Iran’s support for the decisions made by the Palestinian resistance groups as representatives of the Palestinian nation.
Since October 2023, over 41,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 96,000 injured in Israel’s war on Gaza. The devastating impact has been particularly severe on children, with thousands lost under the rubble.
