Iran Press/ Iran news: The Spokeswoman of the Iranian Administration, Fateme Mohajerani, addressed the media in her first press conference on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, following President Pezeshkian’s trip to New York for the 79th UN General Assembly.
Fateme Mohajerani highlighted the administration’s commitment to implementing the country’s 7th development plan, emphasizing the use of nuclear electricity. She stated that the administration aims to triple the nuclear capacity from 1,000 MW to 3,000 MW by leveraging knowledge-based companies.
Furthermore, Mohajerani outlined the 7th plan of development, a 5-year initiative set to run from March 20, 2024, to March 20, 2030. This plan focuses on various sectors including economic, infrastructure, cultural, social, scientific, technological, educational, foreign policy, defense, security, administrative, and legal areas.
The administration’s goal is to diversify Iran’s energy portfolio to maximize the benefits of clean energies, aligning with the national development objectives.
