BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the Minister of National Defense of Türkiye, Yaşar Güler, recently met during the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX) in Baku. The meeting highlighted the strong friendship and strategic alliance between the two countries, emphasizing their cooperation in military, military-technical, military-educational, and military-medical spheres.

The Azerbaijani-Turkish delegation, including high-ranking officials from both countries, discussed the development of bilateral relations, regional security, and joint military-technical projects. The importance of technological innovation in expanding joint production and enhancing defense capabilities was also emphasized.

At the end of the meetings, several contracts on military-technical cooperation were signed, reflecting the commitment to further collaboration. The ADEX exhibition was commended for showcasing the latest advancements in defense technology and fostering stronger ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
