A popular Chinese tea shop chain faced backlash after releasing a video that was meant to be humorous but ended up offending many. The video by Good Me featured employees confessing to work-related mistakes while wearing cardboard handcuffs and holding signs with their supposed “crimes” written on them.
The clip, shared on social media, showed staff in uniforms with their heads lowered and visibly uncomfortable. This led to criticism from the public and media outlets for being disrespectful towards the employees.
