Chandigarh Univ Approved for India’s First AI-integrated Campus in Unnao

The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the proposal for the opening of a new first-generation AI-integrated campus of Chandigarh University in Unnao. The campus, spanning 63.53 acres in Parsandan village, Hasanganj tehsil on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway, will offer 45 futuristic courses in Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science, Health, and Liberal Arts. Director Jai Inder Singh Sandhu stated that it will be India’s first AI-integrated futuristic campus and will commence academic sessions in 2025-26.

The campus aims to enhance the connectivity of students to high-quality education. Specifically, the Unnao campus will provide courses in Business Administration, Applied Finance, International Accounting, Branding, Advertising, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Data Science, AI, Pharmacy, Forensic Science, Physiotherapy, Optometry, and more.

Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu expressed excitement about leveraging AI’s potential for innovative learning. With a focus on holistic education, this new campus is set to shape the future of education in India.
