Biden Continues Unproven Claims About Iran

In a recent address to the 79th United Nations Assembly, the US President proclaimed that the world is at a critical turning point. Highlighting actions like withdrawing from Afghanistan, addressing Russia, supporting Ukraine, and competing with China, he emphasized his administration’s commitment to establishing peace and stability in the Middle East.

While discussing the ceasefire agreement and ongoing conflicts in the region, the President mentioned the need for exchanging prisoners and handing over Gaza to end the war. He also touched upon the violence in the West Bank and the importance of a two-state solution for Palestinians.

Regarding Iran, the President expressed the belief that progress towards peace could improve relations and aid in resolving Iran’s nuclear issue. Despite urging for the confrontation of Iran’s proxies, he emphasized the necessity of a peaceful resolution.

Despite these assertions, the President made no mention of the Palestinian casualties in Gaza. The speech also raised concerns about escalating tensions and emphasized the importance of diplomacy for stable security in the region.
