Prime Minister Ali Asadov Highlights Key Budget Priorities for Azerbaijan
In a recent address, Prime Minister Ali Asadov outlined the main priorities for determining the budget policy in Azerbaijan for the upcoming year and mid-term period. These priorities are aligned with the “Strategy of Socio-Economic Development for 2022-2026.”
During a discussion on the draft state budget and consolidated budget for 2025, as well as economic and social development indicators for the next three years, Asadov emphasized the importance of measures such as the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, strengthening the country’s defense capabilities, and implementing socio-economic development programs in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Furthermore, the prime minister highlighted the need to enhance social support programs to improve the well-being of the population and ensure macroeconomic stability. Asadov stressed the challenges of supporting sustainable economic growth while maintaining budget stability.
