The North Central APC Forum is set to appeal the Federal High Court ruling dismissing their suit against Abdullahi Ganduje’s appointment as the National Chairman of the APC. The forum had challenged Ganduje’s appointment, citing violations of the party’s constitution and zoning arrangements.
In the court’s judgement, it was stated that the forum lacked legal standing to file the suit and should have explored internal party mechanisms first. Despite this setback, the Chairman of the North Central APC Forum, Saleh Zazzaga, expressed determination to continue the legal battle and secure the region’s rights within the APC structure.
Zazzaga also criticized individuals within the region for betraying their cause and vowed to address these betrayals decisively. He highlighted Ganduje’s corruption trial in Kano and emphasized the need for his removal from office to avoid legal liabilities for the party.
While thanking their supporters and President Bola Tinubu, Zazzaga urged dedication and prayerfulness in pursuing the region’s development. He also praised the people of Edo State for voting for the APC and expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership.
