In a recent development to reform Ukraine’s defense industry, three new limited liability companies will be established within Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (Ukroboronprom). This decision was made by the Supervisory Board of the company and marks a significant step in the corporate governance reform at Ukroboronprom.
The transformation of state-owned enterprises into LLCs will enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the defense industry in Ukraine. This move comes as part of a broader effort to modernize and streamline the operations of Ukroboronprom, with a total of 42 enterprises already being transformed into business companies under the reform.
The transition to LLCs will ensure better management and governance of these state-owned enterprises, making them more agile and responsive to the needs of the defense sector. This decision reflects Ukroboronprom’s commitment to improving its operations and strengthening Ukraine’s defense industry.
