President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan delivered a powerful message during the first session of the seventh convocation of the Milli Majlis. He warned those providing arms to Armenia that they will be held accountable for any consequences that arise from their actions. Aliyev highlighted that the $250 million support from the United States to Armenia would only be used to purchase weapons aimed at harming Azerbaijan.
He criticized the hypocrisy of the European Peace Facility, which indirectly funds weapons for Armenia. Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan’s stance remains firm and unchanged. He made it clear that any country or organization supporting Armenia’s aggression will be responsible for the outcomes of their aid.
The President called for an end to Armenia’s territorial claims, changes in its Constitution, and the dissolution of the Minsk Group for a peaceful resolution. Aliyev’s bold statements underscored Azerbaijan’s commitment to protecting its sovereignty and maintaining peace in the region.
