Muslim Scholars Call for Urgent Action Against Israeli Aggression in Gaza and Lebanon
The International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has urged the Islamic and Arab world to take immediate action to counter Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. The head of IUMS, Ali Mohiuddin Al-Qaradaghi, called for an emergency summit to address the ongoing Zionist aggression, emphasizing the need for unity among Muslim nations.
Al-Qaradaghi highlighted the threat posed by Israel to all Arab and Islamic countries and called for support for Gaza through military, economic, and humanitarian aid. He suggested economic measures, such as halting oil and gas exports, to pressure an end to the aggression.
He criticized the inaction and silence towards Israeli policies, stating that the attacks on Lebanon and Gaza are attacks on the dignity of the people in the region. The recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have resulted in numerous casualties, escalating tensions between Hezbollah and Israel.
The call for urgent action against Israeli aggression underscores the pressing need for solidarity and collective response from the Muslim world.
