Kuwait Airways Takes Corrective Action on Absorption Contract Termination
Kuwait Airways recently announced corrective actions taken in response to the termination of its absorption contract with Kuwait Aviation Services Company (KASCO), following financial and procedural observations by the Audit Bureau. The airline stated that these measures align with directives from the Government Performance Follow-up Agency and the Public Investment Authority.
In a press release, Kuwait Airways assured that it has implemented necessary procedures to address the issues related to the contract termination. Employees affected by the contract will either continue working at KASCO within their specializations or be offered alternative positions without any adverse impact on their salaries or benefits.
The airline also revealed plans to facilitate employee transfers to Kuwait Airways, emphasizing adherence to employment contracts and salary structures. This move aims to create job opportunities for national talents at KASCO and support the growth of local companies.
