Japan and Mongolia leaders confirm defense equipment agreement

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh have confirmed the successful conclusion of negotiations for a bilateral pact on defense equipment and technology transfers. During their meeting in New York, lasting approximately 40 minutes, the two leaders agreed to aim for an early signing of the pact.

The agreement will facilitate the export of defense equipment and technologies between Japan and Mongolia, with provisions for the proper management of these transfers.
