Israeli Warplanes Launch Over 80 Airstrikes in Lebanon
Israeli warplanes conducted over 80 airstrikes on Monday morning, targeting various areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. The airstrikes hit regions between the towns of Ansar and Zrariyeh in the southern Nabatieh Governorate, as well as other towns like Wa’ba, Jibchit, and Sharqia.
Israel also targeted the Beqaa region, hitting areas around Chmistar, Bodai, Nabi Chit, and Baalbek in eastern Lebanon. The airstrikes caused tensions to mount between Hezbollah and Israel following a deadly airstrike that killed at least 45 people in Beirut’s southern suburb.
No casualties have been reported so far, but ambulances were dispatched to the targeted areas. Israeli surveillance drones were seen flying over villages in western and central regions, extending to the Litani River.
The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has escalated, with both sides blaming each other for recent deadly attacks in Lebanon. The situation remains tense as the region faces ongoing instability.
