Israeli Army Intercepts Missiles and Drone from Iraq
The Israeli army successfully intercepted two cruise missiles and a drone launched from Iraq towards the occupied Golan Heights. This interception prevented any threats from reaching the Golan Heights. Earlier, sirens were heard in the southern part of the occupied Golan Heights and near Lake Tiberias.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for attacking “vital targets” in northern Israel using drones and advanced cruise missiles. Tension has escalated between Lebanon’s Hezbollah group and Israel after an airstrike killed dozens of people in Beirut. Hezbollah confirmed the deaths of several members in the attack.
This incident comes amid ongoing cross-border warfare between Hezbollah and Israel. While the Lebanese government and Hezbollah blame Israel for recent explosions in Lebanon, Tel Aviv has not confirmed its involvement.
The Israeli army remains vigilant and ready to respond to any threats to ensure the safety and security of the region.
